Rahul Gandhi is part of the famous Gandhi-Nehru family of Indian politics. At present, he is working as the President of the Indian National Congress. Along with that Rahul is also the chairperson of the Indian Youth Congress and the National Student Union of India. In the Lower House of Indian Parliament Lok Sabha, he represents his Amethi constituency of Uttar Pradesh. He started his career with a company named Monitor Group. In 2004, Rahul started his career in politics. In the same year, he contested and won the election from Amethi. After this, in 2009 and 2014, he continued the winning legacy. After joining the party, Rahul has consistently worked on party strategies and development. For this, he was made the first General Secretary and then the Vice President of Congress in 2013. During the 2014 elections, Rahul Gandhi led the Congress party’s campaign. Rahul raises a voice in the interest of farmers, youth, poor and backward classes of the society. In 2017, the Congress party chooses Rahul as their President and made him a claimant on behalf of the party for the post of Prime Minister.
